Handmade with tons of love
Jojos sweet treats are made from the best wheat free flours, soya butter, eggs and sugars. We also use 72% cocoa solids, 100% cocoa powder, as well as lots of
other gorgeous ingredients like fresh lemons, coffee, and vanilla beans. Yum!
These ingredients are mixed and created into the sweet treat of your choice. Be it a wedding cake, a box of delicious cupcakes in lots of yum flavours or our
fab iced biscuits for special occasions.
What's in our baked goodies?
Basic cake recipe: Wheat free flour, soya butter, eggs, sugar, xanthum gum. Added flavours/ingredients can include: sunflower oil, gluten free baking powder, diabetic chocolate, sweetener, 72% cocoa solids, 100% cocoa powder, fresh lemons,
oranges, carrot, coffee, vanilla bean extract, walnuts, raisins, currants, sultanas, cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg, dessicated and fresh coconut, lime, peaches,
almonds and pineapple. Phew!
To cover our cakes: We mainly use sugar paste and icing.
Icing: Icing sugar, water, egg white, food colours if needed*.
Sugar paste: Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Added Water, Emulsifier E471, Glycerine, Acidity Regulators. Other ingredients dependent on the colour of sugar paste may include: E260, E262, Stabiliser E413, Colours E129, E153, E104, E123, E110, E133, E122 Flavouring,
Caramalised Sugar Syrup, E466, Citric Acid, Preservative E202, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder.
Basic Cupcake recipe: Wheat free flour, soya butter, eggs, sugar, xanthum gum added flavours/ingredients may include: sunflower oil, gluten free baking powder, diabetic chocolate, sweetener, 72% cocoa solids, 100% cocoa powder, fresh lemons, oranges, carrot, coffee, vanilla bean extract, walnuts, raisins, currants, sultanas, cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg dessicated and fresh coconut, lime, peaches, almonds and pineapple.
Cupcakes icing: Icing sugar, soya butter, water, food colours when needed*, egg white, cream cheese, honey, lemon juice, orange juice, coffee, lime juice, dessicated coconut, 100% cocoa powder, 72% cocoa solids, marshmallows, and vanilla bean extract.
Sprinkles and edible glitters: made from gum arabic and water.
Iced Biscuits: Wheat free flours, butter, sugar, eggs, xanthum gum, golden syrup, 100% cocoa powder, vanilla bean extract, ginger, lemon zest and sunflower oil. (Icing recipe as before)
*At jojos we always aim to use natural colours in our baked goodies wherever possible.
